Data centers create long-term, high-paying jobs across engineering, technology, operations, cybersecurity, midterm engineering, infrastructure and construction. The multiplier effect includes retaining and attracting major employers in AI, biotech, fintech, media production, and research. Data centers can also play a key role in the adaptive-reuse redevelopment that Long Island needs. It turns out that building a cloud can create so many bright opportunities.
