Long Island homes for sale sink to record low

There were just 4,287 Long Island homes, including single-family, condos and co-ops, listed for sale with OneKey MLS at the end of December—1,801 in Nassau County and 2,486 in Suffolk County, according to numbers from the listing service. That’s 827 fewer homes than were listed for sale at the end of November, and 16.2 percent fewer than the 5,116 homes that were listed for sale at the end of Dec. 2024.
