Long Island gas prices spike as Iran conflict over Straight of Hormuz reignites

An AAA Northeast survey on Monday found the average price of gas per gallon on Long Island, $3.92, is up 3 cents from a week ago, following the war resuming between the United States and Iran, and despite a decrease in demand.
