Island Harvest’s workforce institute graduates second class of skilled workers

A food bank’s workforce institute graduated its second class of skilled workers who aim to attain economic mobility and move toward food security.
At a June ceremony, Melville-based Island Harvest Food Bank’s Workforce Skills Development Institute presented 13 certificates to graduates who gained skills in warehousing and inventory control.
