Brookhaven National Lab to lead $14.2M artificial intelligence project to better manage electric grid

The $14.2 million project will pool the resources of research institutes such as BNL and Stony Brook University, private entities such as IBM Research and utilities such as LIPA and Con Edison to model ways to quickly deploy new resources or adapt to large electric-load fluctuations.
