32BJ SEIU: Security Officers Working at UBS Arena Ratified Their First-Ever Union Contract

Security Officers working at UBS Arena ratified their first-ever union contract on August 10th covering 225 security personnel and are now proud members of 32BJ SEIU. The contract provides a 12.1% wage increase over the life of the 3-year agreement, an overnight differential, longevity increase, 100% employer-paid family health care for full-time employees, employer contributions to a retirement plan for all security officers, paid time off, no subcontracting and successorship language, a $400 per year attendance/retention bonus for event and part-time security. The agreement is retroactive July 1st, 2023.
