Preparing for the Unthinkable: Educating Workers on How to Best Respond in Case of an Active Shooter
Active shooter incidents are becoming all too common, and workplaces can be a target of these often fatal events. Workers need to know how to best respond to these unpredictable and rapidly-evolving situations. Employers must have Emergency Action Plans, and preparing to respond to an active shooter should be included in that policy.
At this introductory session, participants will learn which actions to take to prevent and prepare for potential incidents, including what to do when an active shooter enters the workplace.
