A means of egress is defined as a continuous, unobstructed path of egress travel from any accessible point in a building or facility to a public way. In this forum, we will discuss the issue of egress and emergency plans in the workplace and what resources workers and unions have to make sure people have a safe means of exit. This forum will be a discussion on what good planning requires and how to make the workplace safer in an emergency.
