A message from President John Durso

The special election for the third Congressional District is today. I firmly believe that voting is a serious obligation, an act of patriotism, and should not be taken lightly. For over two years, constituents in the third Congressional District have been without a voice in Washington. It is critical that we do everything in our power to deliver for working people, and in this election that means sending Tom Suozzi back to the House of Representatives.

During his time in Congress, Tom chaired the Labor Caucus and co-sponsored the PRO Act, which would protect a worker’s right to organize without interference from their employer. Tom also voted for the Bipartisan Infrastructure Law, Inflation Reduction Act, as well as the CHIPS and Science Act, all of which have already created jobs here in New York. Not to mention, Tom has a 96% lifetime voting record on the issues that matter most to working families.

As a local Mayor, County Executive, and then member of Congress, Tom developed the experience and established a track record of getting things done. Our country is suffering from bitter partisanship. Tom is a leader who has demonstrated he is interested in working across the aisle to represent the needs of all his constituents. Make your voice heard and vote for Tom Suozzi today.

Polls are open from 6 am until 9 pm today. You can find your polling location here.
